Michael Luna
Hunter Street Baptist Church
Chairman

Michael Luna is grateful for the opportunity to serve on the board of ECCS, a school his family loves dearly. Michael and his wife, Sandi, are blessed that their children, Alexander and Bailey, both students in the upper school, have been able to attend Evangel since they were in 4K. Michael is a co-owner and operator of Blue Rain Express Car Wash. He holds a BGS in Theatre and Film from the University of Kansas and a Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School. The Lunas attend Hunter Street Baptist church and are active in choir and student ministries.
Stephen Daniels
Evangel Church, PCA
Stephen Daniels is married to Caroline with five children (3 married) and two grandchildren. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and has worked for Rockwell Automation since graduation. Stephen was a founding board member of ECCS and is currently a serving Elder at Evangel Presbyterian Church. He enjoys spending time with family, working on cars, and coaching the ECS robotic team.
Heather Greaves
Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church

Heather (Thompson) Greaves is an ECCS alumna, class of 2016. She and her brother Andrew attended the school from kindergarten through 12th grade. Heather graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and enjoys working in the nursing field. She and her husband Nate are members of Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church. Heather is excited and honored to reconnect with ECCS by serving in this role.
Rachel Harrington
Mountain Chapel Methodist Church

Rachel Harrington and her husband, Andy, have been married for twenty-two years and live in Hoover, Alabama. They have three children: Anna, Nate, and Eli, who are all ECCS students. They are long-time members of Mountain Chapel Methodist Church, where Rachel serves as a member of the Middle School Ministry Team and is an active volunteer with the youth ministry. Rachel is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has worked in a variety of school settings. She is currently employed at a local mental health counseling practice.
Jeffrey Love, MD
Trinity Presbyterian Church

Dr. Jeffrey Love is a Birmingham physician, Desert Storm veteran, and ECCS parent. After completing undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi, he enlisted in the Air Force as a Security Police/Airbase Ground Defense Officer. He graduated from flight school and went on to fly B-52s in multiple missions in Desert Storm. Following his service, he graduated from Wright State University School of Medicine with an MD degree. During his residency in Emergency Medicine, he enrolled at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he completed two degrees, an MDiv and a ThM.
He and his wife, Heidi have three children and six grandchildren. Their youngest, Luke, is a current student at ECCS. They attend Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Dawn Romano
Evangel Church, PCA

Ms. Dawn Romano has lived in various parts of Alabama all her life. She graduated from Auburn University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. After graduating, she worked for 5 years as an English/Literature teacher until deciding to become a full-time homemaker to her growing family. Dawn has been an active member of Evangel Presbyterian Church for the past 13 years, and her family has been involved with ECCS since 2010. Dawn has 4 children: Hays, Cole, Elly Scott, and Cruz.
Dabney Sliwowski
The Church at Shelby Crossings

Mrs. Dabney Sliwowski was born and raised in Mississippi. After attending the University of Mississippi, she worked in banking/finance. In 2005, she moved to Alabama where she continued to work in banking. In 2008, she felt led to change her career and graduated from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences. Prior to becoming a full-time homemaker, she worked at The Arc of Shelby County where she assisted children with developmental delays and disabilities. Dabney attends The Church at Shelby Crossings in Calera. Additionally, she enjoys volunteering, reading, traveling, and Ole Miss football.
Dabney and her husband, Thomas, have a son, Benton (future class of 2028).
