ECCS Art Teacher Featured in Alabaster Connection Magazine

Julia Hankins has been an art teacher for 19 years, and for every one of those, she’s been at ECCS. She has seen many changes over that time and with her students, but her goal remains the same to help her students sit still, truly see, and communicate visually, even in our world of overstimulation and instant gratification.

Mrs. Hankins sat down with
Alabaster Connection magazine to talk more about our ECCS art program, how she approaches teaching, and how she aspires to shape minds through art that focuses on truth, beauty, and goodness. We are so thankful for Mrs. Hankins, how she shares her talent for art and teaching, and how she has poured into our art program for so many years!
